After the morning meeting the magician was to drive up north to get magic props that he needed and to see his family. He of course left me with the elephant in the room.
The elephant of the proposed affair. Seriously, when I look at my vision board nowhere on it was a married man with two small children and an ex-wife and a teen-age daughter. He had also said to me the day before that he was not happy. Upon his return he gave me a card that had two wolves on the front cover.
“You know wolves mate for life.” ” I know” he responds.
On the inside of the card it says,
It is written in the stars
and whispered on the wind;
destiny would guide our hearts
to a love that knows no end.
I had been in love with this man for thirty years. I thought his declarations of love were real and genuine…….
