Oh wow, thank you so much for the nomination! Now I have something to write about this morning while I wait for pictures from my event last night from the photographer.

But back to YOU!! I LOVE your answers and your misspellings are endearing. I love misspellings. My husband can’t spell either and I always get giddy when I receive his emails. (I’m definitely not a grammar or spelling nazi!) And we talked about this quite a few times, but I am always so happy to read about a fellow vegetarian. (So cute how you spelled “vegitarian” — just adorable!) Great title for your book too and I’d love to read it! All good stuff here, Ivonne! xo

I can’t spell worth a damn…even spell check does not get all the typo’s. My philosophy is, “that’s what editors are for”. But I can speak three languages–english-spanish-italian–I think my brain gets them confused at times…….that’s my story …that and I am a bit dyslexic….

      • Maryanne Says:

You’re absolutely right, that is what editors are for! Are you Spanish and Italian? Those are my FAVORITE accents. I’m Italian but I don’t speak it. My great grandmother was from Brooklyn so we’ve been Amercian-ized. I’m dyslexic too, but more so with numbers than letters. Going to the bank is traumatizing.

        • Sex, Spirit, Soul Mates and Chocolate....Ivonne's Journey Says:

I am Puerto Rican….Spanish was my first language but I grew up in the states so no accent unless I am putting one on, I learned Italian when I was going to visit my brother in the airforcen and he was stationed there. I fell in love with Italy—capri is one of my favorite places in the world –so beautiful. I am working on French–I can read it and hear it and understand but do not have a comman of it to be able to speak it just yet. I love languages. Yes, I am more so dyslexic with numbers—but still suck at spelling 🙂

          • Maryanne Says:

Terrific about all the languages! I took Spanish lessons but they didn’t stick. I want to relearn someday. I can recite some song lyrics in Japanese and Finnish though. When you are thinking, what language do you think in?

            • Sex, Spirit, Soul Mates and Chocolate....Ivonne's Journey Says:

That is a really good question. I do believe that when I think I think in English but when I am really pissed off I have been known to spontaneously speak in Spanish……

              • Maryanne Says:

                That’s adorable 🙂
